  • Adire is indigo resist-dyed cotton cloths. Resist-dyeing involves creating a pattern by treating certain parts of the fabric in some way to prevent them from absorbing dye. Adire can have a stiff texture before its first wash.

    Care Instructions: Hand-wash in cold water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cold water. Skip the spin cycle. Hang to dry. Dry cleaning is also acceptable. For the initial wash, do not add other fabrics

    Do not place this garment in the dryer. It will shrink.
